About

Katana started humbly as SKIP (Seng Kang Incluing Punngol) as the members were residents of the area at that point in time. Seng Kang Community Club (SKCC) wanted to start a netball team and was recruiting players for recreational purposes to develop or allow the residents' interests to grow.

SKIP then had a change of image and eventually became Katana, a 30-strong member netball club that consists of the recreational and competitive players.

Katana now has a training area close to the residents neighbourhood as there are two dedicated netball courts at SKCC that are being used for not only training purposes but also for organising carnivals as well.

Katana wishes to be a great representative for SKCC and also stretch the players to their best in netball. On top of that, Katana has been exposed to not only competitors locally, but have gone as far as Thailand to increase the exposure of the team to different styles of play.

We can only expect great things coming from the team.
